Big Ticket Item Secrets - The Key To Succeeding On The Internet
Let me ask you a very important question. Are you selling a big ticket item with your products. This is a very important question. Let us examine in more detail why.
If for example you are selling a ten dollar item. To make a thousand dollars of sales you need to sell a hundred items. This is a lot of work. Now for example say you had a four hundred dollar product and you offered this in the backend. When a customer purchased your product you would present an upsell and say one out of ten people who bought your main product also bought your big ticket item. Out of a hundred sales you would sell ten big ticket items. Your total volume of sales will increase from a thousand dollars to five thousand dollars which is a huge increase.
By definition any big ticket would be between five hundred and a thousand dollars. This typically would be a seminar, dvd set or personal coaching. A lot of time and effort goes into a big ticket item.
Usually the way that this would work is that you would first sell a customer a cheap product say for example seventeen dollars. Then you would sell a forty seven dollar product, then a ninety seven dollar product and finally aim for the jugular and try and make a thousand dollar sale. As you build trust with your customers you can easily increase your prices.
Just imagine what this will do to your profits. Say for example you were to make thirty one thousand dollar sales that is thirty thousand dollars a year just from your big ticket items.
Usually you would start off with a downloadable ebook, then you can move to a higher priced medium like cd and finally a big ticket item like a training course on a dvd. The medium of presentation represents higher value.
